Help with kids

My mom will be living with us until I am able to take care of the kids. Thanks mom and thanks to everyone who has offered to help us.

I feel privileged to be the first comment on your new blog. :) I think this is a really great idea to keep your friends and family informed without having to field/make a bazillion phone calls. Way to go, Travi.

That's awesome that your mom will be able to come help out. And you know I'm available anytime to come out and take some relief shifts. Or send care packages. Or talk on the phone. Or whatever else it is you need me to do. You know I love you. So let's go out there and kick some cancer ass!

Thanks Lowa. My mom might have to go home and drive my dad out here, so that might be a great time for you to come. Thanks for all your help.

Laura Stilwell thoughtfully sent us the address of your blog. We are so grateful she did, for Joel, Anna and I enjoyed meeting you and Travis at Daniel and Laura’s wedding. We were thrilled when you married and had Gavin to join Sam.

Our prayers have been with you and your family since we heard your most recent news. We were glad to hear your mother (whom we had the pleasure of meeting with your father at the wedding) is living with you to help Travis take care of you and the children. It is heartening to read in your blog of the wide support you have. We know you will accept their love, support and suggestions in your marathon. Rest, eat as well as you can, relax and let your body work as normally as it can to deal with the chemicals which will be entering your body. When you are alone you will sometimes be discouraged. That is normal, but it will disappear at the sight of Travis, Gavin, Sam, your mother or a sunny day. You will find that the smallest daily living experiences will give you pleasure and strength.

Much love to you, your family and mother from us three in Princeton and New York. Our prayers are with you.
