Since the race...

Since the race Sammy and I went to DC with friends and had an incredible time. The weather was perfect and I was able to keep up with the girls.

I got home Saturday evening and flew to NY Sunday morning to see a Dr. who deals in all kinds of medicines. He has been known to really help people with stage 4 cancer. I am sifting thru the info as we speak.

Went to our friends cabin in the mountains this past weekend. Had a blast and Gavin was a riot. Did sleep much but making up for lost time.

Monday I was able to get chemo and the Benedril knocked me off my feet. I slept the entire 8 hours we were at Emory, then napped from 5-8, then went to sleep at 9. It is 5:30 and I am wide awake...wonder why.

Well that is it for now. Happy 4th of July

What a day

Okay, first the race was amazing, hot but amazing. About 250 ran and I cheered them all on. It was tiring but so fun.

That eveving we had my mom and travis' mom check everyone in and had amazing auction Items and a great raffle. The drinks were flowing and people from all aspects of our lives were there. It was like a wedding/reunion.

The next day everyone including Gavin slept in until 9:00.

We would like to thank everyone who volunteered, donated items, time, money and those who showed up. We felt so much love and raised $38,000 and counting. Were already getting excited about next year and how we can make it better. If you have any suggestions or want to donate or volunteer just shoot us an email.

Funny story...Malcolm (volunteer) asked if I saw the pregnant girl who was smoking...my mouth dropped opened and I was shocked. What he meant was pregnant and running really fast. Not smoking tabacco.

Two more days

Last years race had 80 people sign up and 350 ran the race. As of last night 200 have signed up...this maybe an incredible turn out. I'm so excited to see you all and we have had even more action items come in that are incredible. I'm sorry to announce that we only have 15 shirts left, but if your still interested go to www.rayofliferace.com and sign up to run/walk/crawl whatever and don't forget about the evening festivities at cocktail cove on Roswell from 5-9. Kids are welcome.

BTW since I started doing wheatgrass shots I have had very little sideeffects and have been fealing great. I started exercising even.

Hope to see everyone this weekend.

Sitting at Emory

I am trying to get this 14 year old boy to play with me. We have been here for 2 hours already. I forgot my book, Travis is working and my phone only gets reception part of the time so I'm trying to get this little boy to entertain me, but he is shy. I did have an 80 year old man earlier but he was done way before me. I have mixed feelings...if I don't get chemo than I get another blood transfussion. If my blood is healthy than I get chemo. Either win win or lose lose not sure how to look at it. Funny that my doctor isn't running behind but we have been sitting here forever... Will let you know the out come
